The transformation of a woman to a mother is an incomparable. It endows a happy marriage and completes a family. However, the pain of those who are unable to bear a child naturally is seldom known to others. Their hopes, however, have been rekindled by surrogate technology. Though Surrogacy has been in existence for a period of time in the traditional form but in the modern times we are mainly concerned with Gestational Surrogacy. The process of surrogacy has triggered a debate over ethics and legalities in India and across the globe. The reason is simple- because we think it's not legal. What is Commercial Surrogacy?

In commercial surrogacy, the surrogate mother enters into an agreement with the commissioning couple and parent and agrees to bear the pregnancy. In return of her consent to carry the child in her womb, she is paid by the commissioning couple.

What is Altruistic Surrogacy?

"Altruistic surrogacy" is a situation where the surrogate receives no financial reward for her pregnancy or the relinquishment of the child.
